Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori, established in 2007 within the premises of an aged structure situated in Civil Lines, Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, embodies the essence of governmental commitment to education. In 2019, a significant milestone was achieved as the school transitioned to a new location, strategically positioned in front of the District Transport Office, Jabalpur Road, Subkhar, reflecting the government’s dedication to providing modern infrastructure for educational pursuits.

This educational institution is facilitated by a team of 36 proficient educators, including specialized personnel such as yoga instructors, computer experts, counselors, and healthcare professionals. Serving approximately 800 students, the school provides a conducive environment for scholastic and holistic development.

Embracing the government’s vision for comprehensive education, Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori expanded its offerings to include Class Balvatika-3 in the academic session of 2023-24, catering to the early educational needs of its young learners. The institution offers classes spanning from 1 to 12, ensuring continuity and progression in the educational journey of its students.

At present, the school focuses on delivering the science stream curriculum for Classes 11 and 12, aligning with the government’s emphasis on promoting scientific education and research. The curriculum also integrates subjects such as physical and health education, along with the contemporary discipline of artificial intelligence, equipping students with relevant skills for the modern world.

Adhering to the standards set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and following the curriculum outlined by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori ensures a rigorous yet enriching academic experience for its students. Additionally, the institution embraces bilingualism in its teaching approach, fostering linguistic diversity and inclusivity through instruction in both Hindi and English languages.
