Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori, established in the year 2007 in the premises of an old building situated at Civil Lines, Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, represents the essence of the Government’s commitment towards education. In the year 2019, a significant milestone was achieved when the Vidyalaya was shifted to a new location, strategically located opposite District Transport Office, Jabalpur Road, Subkhar, which reflects the Government’s dedication towards providing modern infrastructure for academic activities.

This educational institution is facilitated by a team of 36 skilled teachers, including expert staff such as yoga instructors, computer experts, counselors, and healthcare professionals. Serving around 800 students, the school provides a conducive environment for academic and holistic development.

Adopting the Government’s vision for comprehensive education, Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori expands its offerings to include Class Balvatika-3 in the academic session 2023-24, catering to the early educational needs of its young learners. The institute offers classes from 1 to 12, ensuring continuity and progress in the educational journey of its students.

Currently, the school focuses on providing science stream curriculum for classes 11 and 12, which aligns with the government’s emphasis on promoting scientific education and research. The curriculum integrates subjects such as physical and health education as well as the contemporary discipline of artificial intelligence, equipping students with relevant skills for the modern world.

Following the standards set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and following the curriculum outlined by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Kendriya Vidyalaya Dindori ensures a rigorous yet enriching academic experience for its students. Additionally, the institute adopts bilingualism in its teaching approach, promoting linguistic diversity and inclusiveness through instruction in both Hindi and English languages.
